 | Watched David Copperfield the other day and was so pleasantly surprised. Everyone that complains about the fact that David Copperfield wasn't Indian should know that this film wasn't created to be historically accurate, and there are a number of times when black actors are supposed to be related to white ones, but it is never mentioned. I think it fit perfectly with the quirky nature of the film, which was done in a style which breathed new life on a quite frankly, dull book. The film doesn't have to rely on staying accurate to the book because what's the point on putting it to screen when you can just read it?
