 | Hello Justin, thanks for great videos and tips, i have a MacBook Pro mid 2012, 2.9 GHz intel core i7, 16GB ram, "intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB", i am not a professional video editor and i am looking for a cheaper and easier editing software for personal youtube videos, i chose to go for Filmora 9 but unfortunately it will only work smoothly with "intel HD graphics 5000" and above, i do have a choice of iMovie but since i am using Sierra 10.12 still, it wasn't available with OS, if i use Davinci Resolve Free version, would it work with my MacBook's specs + can I add few simple titles, transitions, color corrections and few simple effects, also not sure if it has watermark on the final product or not? i tried contacting the support but unfortunately no response yet, please advise, thanks Комментарий от : @curiousme7796 |

As a professional editor working in reality TV for the past 18 years, I have cut every single show I've ever worked on in Avid: Amazing Race, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The Bachelor, X Factor, you name it..  | When I very first started yrs ago I used iMovie and was very happy with it until it made changes to the way it uploaded to YouTube. Since then I've been using Video Editor Movavi which worked great, had tons of features, was easy to use, and edit both video and audio. It also was easy to upload to many different formats. Until...a mandatory Upgrade in 2019-2020 Video Editor Movavi Plus. We were not given the option to keep the older software. Nothing but trouble. Losing audio files or video files, overnight.  | I have a question, I just filmed myself over the weekend with a DSLR for a news segment. The morning show isn't having guests in studio now due to Covid-19. When I sent the files to the news they ended up looking pretty good on screen. I tried before though using iMovie to edit them and the film quality looked awful. My skin looked horrible. I tried color balancing and just couldn't get it right. I'm a designer so I do know about color correction.  | I'll definitely be checking out Filmora in the future. Another free, open-source video editing program is called OpenShot video editor. It's similar to Screenflow, but I think it's only updated by the creator himself instead of a whole team. Still, I think it's been around for a while.  | In my Youtube videos, which are far less complicated than other videos seen on Youtube, I actually use THREE editors--Filmora, Movavi, and Imovie. One will have features that another doesn't have. So I use Filmora for the first basic editing and for my title sequence at the beginning. I use Movavi to add text (narrative text that comments on what is going on), and sometimes I use Imovie for certain effects that are not on the other two. I like Filmora for all of the clever titles and animated transitions. But for basic text, it is not very good. Imovie is good for basic text creation (which I sometimes need), but Mojave is great for creating text with colors and colored backgrounds. I suppose I should just invest in one expensive software instead of three smaller ones, but the expensive ones don't have the pre-made titles that I like so well in Filmora.
